The WHOIS protection functionality is available with most of the TLDs offered on our website: .com, .info, .biz, .net, .org, .co, .co.za, .me, .tv, .pro, .cc and .we.bs.

With Web Developer Express, you can easily prevent your domain name from getting taken away without your consent by "locking" it at your present domain name registrar. This will not influence the way the domain name works in any way, but will automatically block all domain transfer requests.

In case you need to transfer your domain name, you can just unlock it. Locking ’n’ unlocking a domain name is truly easy and entails only one click.

When registering a domain name, you will be required to provide relevant and up–to–the–minute registration information, no matter if you’re an individual or a company. This is why, you’ll need to update your WHOIS details whenever necessary. Nevertheless, not all top–level domain name extensions support this feature by default, so first check if this option is available prior to initiating a WHOIS update.
